Month End - Number of Posts per Olympic Sport

No news on tickets yet. We had a letter from Sportsworld, letting us know that there would be a delay in allocation of tickets as the response had been 'unprecedented'. With so many Britains making there own may to Greece in 2004 and not needing to pay Sportsworld's handling fee as tickets were available direct from the organising body, I hope that there will be enough to go around.

This end of month is significant because it sees the closure of the first round of the ticket allocation. Our list of requests went into Sportsworld several weeks ago, and now we must wait on tenderhooks to see what we will get!

• Modern Pentathlon, World Championships, 14-22 August, Berlin, Germany
• Equestrian, European Jumping Championships, 15-19 August, Mannheim, Germany
• Hockey, EuroHockey Nations Championships, 18-26 August, Manchester, England
• Rowing World Championships, 26 August-2 September, Munich, Germany
• Equestrian, European Dressage Championships, 27 August-2 September, Turin, Italy.
