

Helen Tucker finished second with Hollie Avil (fourth). Both women achieved the Olympic triathlon qualification criteria.
The podium race was decided on the second (bike ride) stage when the four leaders created a 2min 35 lead. The Portugese reigning world champion, Vanessa Fernandes, was first away into the run leaving Tucker, Avila and Daniela Ryf, of Switzerland, to contest the minor places
