

The British Men's team won the silver medal at the
Archery World Championships. Led by 1992 Olympic Bronze medallist Simon Terry, the British team had qualified in second place behind South Korea and made it to the final with elimination victories over Sweden, United States and Poland, but found the South Koreans to be a different proposition in the final losing 214-224.
Simon Terry and Alan Wills have both qualified for the semi-finals of the individual competition. Lawrence Godfrey, the fourth placed competitor in Athens was eliminated at the 1/64 round.

Korea, Canada, Ukraine, Chinese Taipei, Italy, Poland, USA and Great Britain all qualified for the team event at Beijing 2008. Additionally they will have three competitors in the individual competition.
The Men's Team event takes place on 11th August 2008.
