"Is she a film star?"

Ever since we arrived in Beijing, Verity has been inundated with requests for Chinese people to be photographed with her. Her pale skin is a sign of extreme beauty here. When we went to the Zoo she must have been photographed more than most of the exhibits!

It reached ridiculous levels yesterday when 'the beautiful one' was waiting in the queue to get into the stadium for the Opening Ceremony, and we must have spent a good half an hour being photographer by others in the queue. I stepped away to take this photo to be asked by an american "Is she a film star?". I then had to pose, about a dozen times, with varoius chinese!

The highlight was when one of the official photographers toook our pictures and then a reporter came to interview us in the queue!
