In our second visit to the Basketball Gymnasium we saw Russia defeat Iran 71 – 49 and Germany beat Angola 95 – 66. Sat directly in front of us were some youngsters attired in Team GB kit, who were at the matches to see what the Olympics is all about. This morning it was the Chinese basketball team who created the biggest stir, when they came to watch the Germany vs Angola game. The Chinese play the US this evening, but it's these two teams who they will have to beat if they want to get a place in the quarter-finals.
