David Davies wins Silver in Open Water

David Davies won the silver medal in the Open Water event at the World Championships in Seville, Spain.

Vladimir Dyatchin of Russia won the gold medal in a time of 1:53:21.0. Davies won silver and Olympic qualification in a time of 1:53:21.3. The bronze was won Thomas Lurz of Germany in 1:53:27.2.

The Men's Open Water event takes place on 21st August 2008.
