Aaaron Cook secured a quota pace in the Taekwondo at the European Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.Louise Mair, from Elgin, missed out on qualification by one point as she was beaten in her bronze medal match of the -49kg category, by the German Sumeyye Gulec.
Qualifiers in the Men's -80kg category
1st : Bahri Tanrikuku (Turkey)
2nd : Rashad Ahmadov (Azerbaijan)
3rd : Aaron Cook (Great Britain)
The Taekwondo Men’s -80kg category takes place on 22nd August 2008.
