Tim Brabants won a silver medal in K1 1000m at the at the European Championships, in Pontevedra, Spain.Brabants lead the race from the start but Norwegian Erik Veras Larsen, put in a great sprint finish to cross the line just over 1 sec ahead of the Briton.
The Men's K1 1000m event takes place on 22nd August.
