Two Rowing Golds at Youth Olympics

RowingGold and Silver in the Men’s Pairs The Great Britain Rowing team won Two Gold medals at the Australian Youth Olympics.

In a tough Women’s Single’s scull event, Stephanie Mottram fought off Australian and New Zealand opponents to capture the gold medal.

The British highlight came in the Men's Pair with Nathaniel Reilly-O’Donnell and Tom Lucy collecting Gold ahead of Mo Sbihi and Lewis Beech.

GB rowers also collected Silver in the Men's Single’s scull, and the Men's and Women’s Lightweight Pairs. Britain also claimed Bronze in the Women’s Pair.

The rowing competition is being contested by teams from Australian Capital Territory, China, New South Wales, New Zealand, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia.
