Great Britain's Men won the Athletics World Championships in Annecy, France. Phillips Idowu won the triple jump, Marlon Devonish won the 200m, Andy Baddeley won 3,000m, Tyrone Edgar won the 100m, Martyn Rooney won the 400m double, Mo Farah won the 5,000m and the men's 4x100m relay team also won.
The Women's team finished third behind France and Ukraine.
Nicola Sanders won the 400m and Jenny Meadows won the 800m. Jade Johnson was second in the long jump with a personal best of 6.81m. Christine Ohuruogu, in the 200m and Kate Reed in 5,000m also finished in second.
