The British pair of Anthony Clark and Donna Kelloggs won the Mixed Doubles Gold Medal at the Badminton European Championships in Herning, Denmark. They beat Robert Mateusiak and Nadiezda Kostiuczyk of Poland, 16-21 22-20 21-15 in the Final.
The Medal matches for the Mixed Doubles is on the 17th August.

The British Women's Doubles pair Britain of Gail Emms and Donna Kellogg lost their European title at the Badminton European Championships in Herning, Denmark.
The Medal matches for the Women's Doubles is on the 15th August.

Tyrone Robinson won a bronze medal in the Men’s -58kg category at the European Taekwondo Championships in Rome, Italy.
The Taekwondo Men’s -58kg category takes place on 20th August 2008.

The British Olympic Association (BOA) have selected the Swimming members of Team GB for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
Superheavyweight (+91 kg) David Price has qualified for the Olympics at the third and final opportunity. He won the silver medal at the European Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Athens, Greece. Having secured Olympic qualification, he did not contest the final.
The boxing competition takes place throughout the Olympic period. The final of the super-heavyweight division takes place on 24 August 2008.
