Harland finishes 8th in World Championships

Britain’s Georgina Harland produced another brave run to finish eighth in the Modern Pentathlon, World Championships in Berlin, Germany. Team GB’s Athens 2004 bronze medallist Harland, was the highest placed in the GB team, finishing eighth overall. Mhairi Spence finished 19th, one place ahead of Heather Fell, with Katy Livingston finishing in 35th place.

Britain’s male modern pentathletes couldn’t repeat the achievements of their women team-mates at the World Championships, with all three missing out on qualifying for the final.
