Tim Don finished eighteenth at the European Triathlon Championships in Autun, France when his bike had a puncture when he was lying in seventh position. Don the current World Champion fought back from 49th to finish eighteenth, but the puncture had upset any chances of a medal.
The Men's Olympic Triathlon takes place on 19th August 2008.
