Bryant is fifth at Judo WC's

Karina Bryant qualified a quota Beijing spot in the +78kg weight category with a 5th place finish at the Judo World Championships. Bryant, who has recently returned from injury, lost to Carola Uilenhoed of Holland in the fight for the bronze medal.

The 28 year-old has featured in two Olympic Games and has won a total six World
medals. She will compete again on Sunday in the Open weight category.

The women's +78kg take place on 15th August.
